R6N Food & Dining
R6N contest organizers have setup communal dining in Adrian Soaring Club's Large Hangar. Each night, starting Monday, July 2nd through Friday, July 6th, the host organizations will have a buffet style meal made available to all. Dinner tickets may be purchased when you arrive and cost $15/person per night. Saturday Night (July 7th) the host organizations will hold the R6N Michigan Soaring & Awards Banquet starting at 8:00 PM, at Evans Street Station, located at 110 S. Evans Street., Tecumseh, MI, 49286. Tickets for the Banquet are $35/person, and include a 3-course meal (Cash Bar).
Lunch Menu: Custom Sandwiches (Ham, Turkey, Roastbeef) on your Choice of Fresh Bread, Cheese (Cheddar, Swiss, Gouda), Condiments and Fixings (Mayonaise, Mustard, Horseradish, Lettuce, Tomato, Onion); Potato Salad or 3 Bean Salad; Pickle Spear; Potato Chips; Popcorn; Gatorade; Soft Drinks; and Water will be available for sale (donation) to R6N. Lunch should run about $5-6 per person per day.

Sunday, July 1: Brats, Hamburgers & Summer Fixings (Michigan Club Pot-Luck Night). Evening Entertainment: Folk Singer Jen Sygit. Note: Club Members from Adrian Soaring Club, Marshall Soaring Club and Sandhill Soaring Club are encouraged to bring a Pot-Luck Item for 10-15. Pilots, Crew, and Guests get to sit back, relax, and enjoy the first of six lovely evenings in Adrian. Monday, July 2: Italian Night: Garden or Caesar Salad; your Choice of Lasagna or Baked Mostaccioli; Fruit Salad; Garlic Bread; and Dessert. Tuesday, July 3: Puerto Mex Latino Grill: Catered Menu Tbd (likely to feature Latin American Cuisine). Wednesday, July 4: BBQ: Garden Salad; your Choice of Ribs, BBQ Chicken, or Pulled Pork; Grilled Corn; Green Beans; Corn Bread; 4th of July Cake! Afterwards... Caravan it to see Fireworks at Devil's Lake. Thursday, July 5: Everest Sherpa (Indian): Catered Menu Tbd (likely to include Chicken Tikka Masala and other Indian favorites).
